Virender Sehwag which is in the top batting order for team India hit 219 runs against West Indies 8th December 2011. The venue was Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore. out of 219 runs he hit 25 boundaries as fours and 7 boundaries as sixes. It was the 3223rd match of ICC ODI in which team India was won by 153 runs from West Indies and Virender Sehwag was awarded as the man of the match.

Australia’s D’Arcy Short slammed record books with a 148-ball 257, the third highest score in one-day cricket history, in a JLT One-Day Cup match in Sydney on Friday (September 28). Short smashed 15 fours and a record 23 sixes in his knock that took Western Australia to 387 all out in 47 overs against Queensland. It was even more incredible considering the next best score in the innings was 27 by Marcus Stoinis.
