Ellyse Perry played a fabulous knock for the Australian and scored a fine century of 116 runs. Meg Lanning, Rachel Haynes, Beth MooMooney and Alyssa Healy also contributed their fifties to this total score.
England Women was punished by the Australian Women Batting unit. They started the chase with a big loss, Tammy Beaumont’s first ball wicket grabbed by Ellyse Perry. Amy Ellen Jones and Captain Heather Knight tried to ensure a good beginning to the England Team despite the early wicket loss.
Everything was going fine with chase but then came Sophie Molineux and ruined all the plans of the English Batting Unit. She picked up the wickets of both Amy Jones and Heather Knight. Later, Natalie Sciver gave the hope to the team with little support of lower batting order.
After giving their all in England team declared their first inning on a satisfying total of 275 runs on the board with a loss of 9 wickets. The Australian team also started their 2nd inning with 2 early losses of Alyssa Healy and Rachel Haynes.
After two early dismissals star of the match, Ellyse Perry came in to join Meg Lanning and stayed Not out till the end of the match. Ellyse Perry yet again played sincerely and scored 76 runs. Jess Jonassen, Sophie Molineux, and Beth Mooney played short supportive Knocks.
Australian team scored 230 runs at a loss of 7 wickets. In the end, Match drawn. Ellyse Perry named the Player of the Match.
